Gibson ES-335 TD (her real name is Audry)
This guitar from 1979 is the one I literally fell in love with. It is an ES-335 but it is the walnut version they made for just a couple of years in the seventies with two switch knobs. One switch is just a normal guitar switch, the other one changes the humbucker into a single coil element. It is a wonderful guitar, it plays really easy and it can give a tender jazz sound, a screaming rock sound and everything in between it.
Some pictures of Audry, every part is original as you can see!
Epiphone Les Paul
This guitar was built in 1998. It is an epiphone with the not very commonly seen color tobacco sunburst. It sounds like a les paul should sound and it plays fantastic. It is a guitar that I really love to play and prefer to play if I need a not too expensive guitar for a rehearsal or gig.
Fender Telecaster Mexico
This guitar was built in 2005 and I bought it on a holiday in New York. I do not really like the sound of it anymore for the style I prefer to play so I changed the elements for a seymour duncan little ‘59 and a seymour duncan vintage stack element. This gives the guitar a bit more of a thick sound what I really like. The neckplate is a picture of one of my favorite guitar players: Jimi Hendrix. I am planning to put a Bigsby tremolo on this guitar in the future.
Yamaha CPX-7 Electro acoustic
I always liked yamaha acoustic guitars and this guitar really defines the yamaha acoustic feeling. The big body gives the guitar a warm sound and it has a great pickup system on it. These guitars where built from 1998 till 2000 so they where not mass produced for a long period. This one is from 1998.
Yamaha F-335 Acoustic
This was my first western acoustic guitar ever. I bought it on a holiday in Los Angeles in 2002. Since then she has traveled with me all over the world with holidays. I love to play this guitar. It is just a decent acoustic guitar with a sound that doesn’t give the impression that it is a budget guitar.
Children guitar
This little travel guitar gave me soulful nights in Portugal. He is now enjoying a holiday with my brother in Namibia (Africa) for a year.
Amplifier
I use Marshall amplifiers. I love the sound of those and they are just solid as rocks!
